A high-output routine that does not stay at maximum power all day

Walk the area first and identify the difficult sections: wet paving, compacted edges, heavier piles and any place where leaves have settled into a dense layer. Use the trigger for normal clearing, switch to boost for those resistant areas, then return to a lower setting once the debris is free.
On long open passes, cruise control can take over. Keep the airflow steady, move the debris towards the next working area and save repeated full-power bursts for the places that genuinely need them.
That routine also makes the buying decision clearer. The 386 km/h headline is valuable if difficult autumn debris is a regular part of your garden work. If most of your jobs are quick dry-leaf tidy-ups, the extra performance may be more capability than you need.
