Mowing without a perimeter wire

As a robot lawn mower without perimeter wire, the AiMowbot 6 uses digital mapping to define its working area. You can set mowing zones, exclusion areas and connecting paths through the app, without laying a boundary wire around the lawn.

Setup still involves positioning the charging station, connecting the mower and mapping the garden. Plan the routes between lawn areas and the places you want it to avoid before starting regular mowing.

If you prefer to work through separate patches yourself, a small cordless lawn mower gives you a 33cm hand-push cut at the times you choose.

App control, obstacles and lawn suitability

The app lets you manage zones and paths and supervise mowing progress. Vision and 3D ToF sensing help detect and avoid obstacles. The mower returns to its charging station when needed and resumes mowing after recharging.

The stated maximum incline is 45%. Check the slope of each area alongside its size when planning the mowing map.
