Using a pole chain saw across different branch heights is not simply a matter of reaching the highest branch first. The cutting position changes as you work around a tree, and repeatedly moving between low, middle and high growth can make the job harder to organise than working through each area in a deliberate sequence.
A practical approach is to identify the branches that need attention before beginning and work through one section at a time.
